How much money can I get?
Up to $5000 excluding GST per business entity, per year. You can apply multiple times until you’ve hit the limit. Once you have hit the limit you can apply next year, or fund the balance of the training yourself.
What services can I get?
The focus of the funding is on upskilling business owners. You must attend sessions yourself, along with key staff, but you cannot just send staff along. The focus is on training and providing you with the tools to grow your business. NZTE wants to measure the growing success of projects.

How are we funded?
NZTE will pay up to 50% of the project cost, capped at $5000 excluding GST. You need to pay your portion. NZTE pay us directly, and we’ll guide you through the application and approval process.
